The online newspaper The Jakarta Globe.com published a retrospective of the 90's with appointments to key groups of the era like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and The Smashing Pumpkins among others, the current revival of the decade, meeting bands, series TV shows like "Beverly Hills" and "Saved by the Bell."

The report makes some quotes about The Smashing Pumpkins:

"Some bands are 'cool,' like Pavement - and you can see it from how They Have Influenced the current crop of hip bands," I said. "Strayed Into Others Have irrelevance, like the Smashing Pumpkins."
